The most common complaints in the patient are ear pain, fever, ear discharge, loss of appetite and restlessness. Oral antibiotics and painkillers-fever-reducing drugs are usually sufficient for treatment. Usually, 10 days of antibiotic treatment is sufficient. However, in case of serious conditions, which we call complications, it may be necessary to immediately drain the inflammation in the middle ear by scratching the eardrum or inserting a tube. In addition, if such conditions develop, antibiotic treatment should be given by injection.
